"And let me guess. The tainted enegry isn't your fault?" Auna asked in a dull and flat voice. She was antsy, she wanted to start the search again before the sun came up.

"Congratulations. You get an A in Recognition and Filter." Mordair muttered, giving Jade a look that not even Merrin could decipher.

[Kyuu]

Jade got fed up with their attitudes, and jumped up despite her exhaustion, pulling out a nice heavy bo staff from nowhere. "You're on thin ice, so I advise you stop with the smart[butt]ing around," she said, doing that whole anime thing with the black aura and the hair floating up, and the eyes glowing red.

"Now, now Jade. No need to kill them. They are kitties. Don't they have nine lives?" Auna asked in a purposefully demeaning way.

The twins recoiled. They had taken it too far. Before them stood Jade, in all her pissed-off glory. Behind them stood Jun, having taken the cue from Jade. A bo-staff one way, and an electrified sword another.

Crap.

[ashiko]

"Actually, we only have seven lives left." Merrin whispered, eye-ing Jun's sword.

[ashiko]

"Can we go home now?" Mordair asked quietly. He looked straight at Jade. She seemed like the biggest threat.

[Kyuu]

"No," she said, still doing the whole flarey thing, "You're gonna stay here all day." She then put a barrier up that couldn't be broken around them and started to walk away.

[ashiko]

The twins glanced at each other. Only one word was going though their heads: [censored]. Now they'd have no food or water and, pretty soon, no home. It was NOT one of their best days.

"Okay, you two have teased enough. Let 'em go." Auna said.

[Kyuu]

Jade grinned and took down the barrier, "That was funny!" she said to no one in particular. She turned to Jun and Noodles, so anyone else know another place to look, thanks to tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb here, we won't be able to go in there for a while."

[GIR]

Noodles shrugged, coming back from her reverie (tee hee, slacking off again) "Hmm? Oh....Uh mountains are pretty rocky....or, like....rivers or something..."

[Kyuu]

ooc: no! wait, just have him join this lot (aka: noodles auna darius, jun jade and the two nikos! We were in this cave looking for the stone things and we found a pink one that gave off a magical pulse that made jun sick and while she was outside, she heard ticking and blew us all out before the cave exploded. then a couple of us yelled at the two nikos and then darius came in and then he and auna argued, and jade repaired some of the cave and then put the two nikos in a barrier and then let 'em out, and that's where we are right now. (forgive me for my lack of capitals please)

Mordair sighed and rubbed his neck. "What time is it?" he whispered to his brother. Merrin cast a glance at Jade and Jun, and looked at his watch. Then his eyes grew wide and his ears shot straight up. "We're too late! Our shift was supposed to start an hour ago!" he whispered harshly.
"What?" Mordair cried, grabbing his brother's arm. "Oh, no! We're going to be evicted!" The two brothers stared at each other, everyone else was apparently ignoring their distress.

[GIR]

Noodles crept over to the two boys. "Hey, um. If you'd like, I could go and talk to whoever it is you're gonna get in trouble with. I'm no good at this magic pulse stuff anyway."
