((Oh, hey, it's only Merrin who has the fleas. And isn't that Jade???))

"AAAAHHH!!!! [censored]!!!!!" Merrin felt the incredible pain and itchiness of the suddenly angered fleas. Merrin twisted, trying to get to the really itchy spots when he over-balanced and fell out of the tree. He hit the ground with a thud as he didn't land on his feet like he normally would.

"Merrin! Are you alright?" Mordair leaped down and landed next to his yelling and squirming brother.

"Get 'em off! Get these [censored] fleas off!" Merrin cried, trying to scratch every part of himself at a time. "Ooowwww!"

Mordair scowled and his eyes narrowed to slits, as did his pupils.

[Kyuu]

((I have no idea what you're talking about, ashiko.))

((Ah, of course you don't. I must be going insane then... It's happened before.))

[GIR]

Noodles cocked her head, wondering what just happened. one of them was moving around and she heard the yelling. Then she sat down thinking it would take a while.

Auna stood back decided fleas was enough of punishment for setting another trap on them.

Merrin whimpered and curled up into a small ball against his brother. The fleas didn't itch anymore, they hurt now. He whimpered again.

Mordair scowled and pet his brother's head a bit, ignoring the fleas that were jumping onto him.

Jun frowned down at them, not a spark of sympathy in her eyes. "Weren't you guys going to get in trouble for being late? At that tavern you work at or something?"

Mordair frowned up at her, his hand on his brother's shaking back. "We're already gonna be in deep [censored] so might as well make it as bad a possible. Go to the extremes, you know?"

[Kyuu]

Having gotten rid of her anger, Jade calmed the fleas down. "Oh, hey, it'll be light pretty soon, we should get back to searching," she said, looking at her watch.

[ashiko]

Merrin gasped slightly, as he felt the fleas calm down. He uncurled and sat up, shaking. "Can we go home now, Mordair?" he whimpered, not meeting anyone's eyes. He hurt, and was more than a little scared of Jade.

Mordair nodded, then stood up looking at the others. "Well, goodbye. Hope to /not/ see you again." Mordair helped his still shaking brother up, and then they disappeared into the trees.

Jun watched them leave, then turned to Jade. "Yeah, we should."

[GIR]

Noodles frowned as they left. 'I bet they're really scared now,' She thought and then tried to distract herself by saying out loud, "Wow! It's almost morning!? I've never been up this late before! It's exciting!"

[Kyuu]

Jade stifled a yawn. "I have," she said, "Stupid insomnia... and no, it's not because of the fact that I'm a vampire that I can't ever sleep. Most can... I can't... So, wanna go back to where we started and get direction from Auna?"

[ashiko]

Jun was asleep already. Almost as soon as the boys had left, she had sat down against the tree and her head rolled forward and she slept.

[GIR]

"Wow. I beat her! Hahaha! Cool. But that does look like a good idea. Except maybe somewhere softer..." Noodles rambled again. She crouched down to stay by Jun.
