The City of Montridge

"Oh, guys...I'll help!" Jun cried, pulling out her katana and stepping forward. Then suddenly, her sword shot out of her hands, along with all her other metal weapons, and to another trap, this one a magnetic tree. A rope caught around Jun's ankle, pulling her upwards into a tree so she hung upside down.

"[censored], you really went all out with this one didn't you?" Mordair whispered.

"yeah, I guess I did. [censored]." Merrin scratched his tail.

[Kyuu]

Jades head snapped around, through the clinking of metal, she heard something, barely a whisper but she heard it. "Would you kindly come out and let us down?" she asked in the direction of the noise, her smile betrayed by the throbbing vein in her temple.

[ashiko]

"[censored]." Both twins whispered.

"Dude, let's scram. She's [censored] pissed!" Merrin whispered.

"Let's let 'em go first. Or we'll face her never-ending wrath." Mordair whispered back.

"Fine. [censored] fleas!" Merrin leaped to the edge of one of the ropes holding up the net. He couldn't be seen, but he gnawed through the rope, and then jumped to another edge.

Mordair jumped to the tree where Jun was hanging and slashed the rope free. Jun hit the ground with a thud. Then he went to the magnetic tree and released her weapons.

When both boys were done, they disappeared into the trees again, hiding.

Jun looked up. She hadn't really seen who had released her or her weapons, or who had released Jade and Noodles. The most she saw was a black blur.

[GIR]

Noodles hit the ground with a thud and a yelp. "Oww, now it's not just my nose. Were those those cat-boys again?"

[ashiko]

Jun frowned, "I bet it was. I mean, it's always them isn't it?" Jun sent a cold wind through the trees.

The boys shivered. Merrin sat there, scratching at the fleas, and Mordair stood near him, his tail swishing lightly.

[GIR]

She stood up and stretched. "Well at least we got out right? Where were we going again?" She asked then, after a pause called out loudly, "Thank you for listening, Cat-boys!"

[Kyuu]

"Thany you? Thank you for what?!" Jade asked, still thoroughly pissed off. "Any way, let's get back to finding the stones."

[GIR]

Noodles shrunk back, chided. She closed her eyes to find the magic pulse and calmed down. She felt the others in focus for the first time. 'Hm. Theirs are a lot different than mine.' She thought and probed about a little more.

Merrin smirked. "You're welcome." he whispered. Then he started giggling silently.

"Shut up or they'll hear you!" Mordair whispered back. He started shielding their energy. The only way that you could tell it was them, was if you had a very unique magic pulse.

Merrin scratched at his fleas again, thinking. "I don't think there are any more traps in this part of the woods. Except for the minor ones that kill bees and what not... So they're ok now. [censored] I wish these fleas would go away!"

Jun picked up her weapons and stashed them away inside her cloak again. Then she closed her eyes and sent out a pulse. She could feel Jade's slightly familiar energy, and Noodles strange one, and the other's energies as well. She probed a bit further, but couldn't find the Cat-boy's energy's. They must have left. Or hidden themselves well.

How could people like the two of them never learn? Auna watched furiously as they sat up in the tree tops just watching Jun and Noodles and Jade be trapped in a Net.

They reacted quicker than she imagined--before Auna could get to them and wrap her fingers around their feline necks-- and punish them. Auna strolled to the closest tree and climbed up quickly followed the sounds of cursing and scratching to their new hiding spot. Auna wasn't really sure why she was so aggitated though.

"They are over here." She called out in a loud voice, surely the three of them could hear her.

Merrin nearly fell out of the tree as he heard Auna's loud voice. "[censored]! How'd she find us?"

"'Cause she's smart, [censored]. And you're too loud. I told you to shut up, didn't I?" Mordair sighed and leaned casually against the tree, licking the back of his hand like a paw.

They had resigned themselves to getting caught. They weren't gonna scamper away like scared rabbits this time.

Jun looked up and frowned, she could see them now. Stupid boys.

[Kyuu]

Jade walked up to where Merrin and Mordair were, not saying a thing, concentrating on not giving into the urge to wring their necks.

[GIR]

Noodles just stood and stared. "I wonder what they're going to do to them..." She thought. "People get their kicks in different ways..."

[ashiko]

Merrin stood then, scratching behind his ear. They decided to not even attempt to get away. "[censored] fleas. I wish they'd go away. I wish there was something we could do to get them to go away."

Mordair smirked, even though they were quickly being surrounded by extremely angry females, sure to lead the two of them to their dooms. "We could always get you a flea collar. I'm sure they'd stay away then."

"Hell no! I'm not wearing a [censored] flea collar! Those are for [censored] dogs!" Merrin made a face at his brother, now scratching the top of his head.

[Kyuu]

Jade suddenly thought of something, and she used her power to make all the fleas on Merrin boiling mad and they started biting with unbeleivable ferocity. ((OOC: mwahahaha!))
