Khetela looked up as a new face climbed in. She first noticed the pained expression, and then the watery eyes. She felt immediate sympathy and wanted to help him. But she wasn't sure how. And then she finally noticed the markings on his face that was done with a marker or a sharpie. Khetela pursed her lips and closed her eyes.
Then she pulled out her small notebook she kept in her pocket, just in case of a moment like this. "A wash rag, or a wet towel?" She thought out loud. She decided on a wet rag, because the wetness and the firmness of the towel would help remove the markings. So she quickly scribbled something down on the page, then she read over it carefully, to make sure she had it right and then she read it out loud. "A handsized square wash rag that was damp enough to clean but not wet enough to drip, with a small amount of soap already lathered bubbled about the small knots of the white rag." She read with an annoying enunciation. But that was the thing, if she didn't speak very clearly, it wouldn't work.
And sure enough, after she had read the sentence and pictured the rag in her hand clearly with every possible detail, when she opened her eyes it was there. In her hand, just like she imagined it and just like she described it out loud. It was a useful ability, but it took a while for it to actually work. Kida looked up at the boy and gave him a friendly smile, she extended her hand with the rag toward him.

"GOSH DARN IT! CAN'T THESE CARRIAGES GET A MOVE ON!" Taikato shouted, probably enough for a lot of people to hear him, he was in a lot of pain, and really regreted to have started that fight.
"TAI! CALM DOWN!" Talon whispered loudly.
"It hurts like heck! Gah..." Tai clutched his hand even tighter, he already had a bandage on it to stop the blood flow, but the pain didn't stop, and the blood flow slowed only a little bit.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Aie soon got up from her chair and checked the window, only the teachers left to welcome the kids where there, and Aie was really worried. She didn't know if she should've gone to go tell Lian, but yet at the same she didn't want to go bother him.
So Aie decided to go walk a bit around the school, and she wandered the halls. They were so quiet, and she got a bit used to it during the time the kids were out.
Aie stopped by Lian's office, and just looked at the door, she didn't want to bother him, but she just stayed there, she leaned against the wall and sighed. 'Where are they?' She thought to herself.

"Yeah, well, that's the funny thing." Jacob grinned nervously. "No one knows how it happened. My dad said that a rat got stuck in the pipe, but he was just joking. That hotel was annoyingly clean." Jacob sat back and stretched, his arms lengthening to brush the ceiling.
René grinned. They had started to move. Silent though he was, he felt he had to say something. So he pushed his glasses up his nose and said, "We're moving. And...you're bag's gonna fall, chica." He nodded at Mat.

Art raised his eyes from the ground to Khetala and wiped his eyes on his arm. "Thanks" He almost whispered as he gently took the rag. Prompted by her kindness, he asked. "Is there room in this cart?" He rubbed the markings off with both hands. It worked very well. Barely any marker remained, but his tired eyes were accentuated. His eyes were wide. "It's very good! Where did you get this?"
--- "Well?" Eevy asked the other teachers as she checked her watch again, "Are we sure there aren't anymore kids getting on? They're getting tetchy!"

Vincent carried the bag over looking around at the carts seeing if any of them were still empty. There appeared to be one with only two people in it. One of them he recognized as Khetela who was the same year as himself and the other was a boy he had never seen before.
“This cart isn’t full is it? I could always go elsewhere if it is.” he asked politely looking over at Art with a smile.
Ethan looked over to Eevy tilting down his glasses. “I’ll go check the train.” he said walking down to the platform looking into the cars. So far it seemed that all of them were empty, empty, empty, but the last one.
Apollo grabbed his bags as Ethan came up behind him as he turned around. “Are you Apollo? If you are stay on the platform and don’t get into the carriage.” said Ethan stepping back from the train and walking alongside Apollo.
“Were all clear now. Everyone should be on, unless they missed the train or something.” he added.
Apollo dragged his bags over to the platform were some of the teachers were standing. It made him feel uneasy that he was getting special treatment like this, uneasy and slightly angry.

"Of course there is room." Khetela smiled slightly, she was curious to know who had done it, but she had a feeling some of the upper classmen boys were behind it. She rolled her eyes mentally. She looked as the door opened and a fellow 3rd year opened the door. "I don't mind." She said with a slight smile. She thought about exactly how she would tell him about how the rag came to be, she decided to tell him the truth.
"I made it." Kida said with a smile, "Like that." On 'that,' she snapped her fingers.

Mat's eyes went from the window to the dunderhead. She couldn't hear him, her music was too loud for her to hear his annoying American accent. She slid one ear bud out of her ear and caught 'gonna fall chica.' And she had no idea why, but she caught his posture and followed a line of sight to the ceiling and she saw that her bag was going to fall if the carraige hit a large bump. She reached up and grabbed the bad and pulled it down and out so it wouldn’t hit her in the head. As it fell she twisted her wrist and made it snap, her bones popped loudly at the motion, the bag also snapped and then landed lightly just in front of her. She hit pause and looked up to him, Rene, the guy with a girl's French name. “Anymore words of wisdom?” She asked in a very none thankful tone.

Lian shifted slightly, the anticipation was building up in his chest as he waited for the students. He wished he had gone down there, but there was still a few students who didn't have a completed schedule. He had been helping the secretary finish them.
Lian blinked as he realized he was pacing with his hands behind his back, his face was taught with muscle strain. He stopped pacing and released a breath. He told himself nothing was wrong, he was just being a worry wart. Lian nudged the lump under his shirt, the lump was his amulet was his keepsake of his mother. Before she turned into a zombie with his father and stopped being an actual person with a good personality. He calmed down and looked up, but the carriages still weren't there.

The secretary looked up from her desk, her back was bent as she arched over some schedules, she only had two more to do, and looked curiously at Aie. She figured she was looking for Lian, she was leaned up against the wall right next to his office.
"'E isn't in right now." She said in her thick English accent, "'E went out to get the students." She said before she turned back into her schedules.

Olakunde was only too thankful to finally be going up to the school, he went to one of the carriages he knew wasn't too full, he really didn't feel like babysitting a bunch of kids the three miles it takes to get to the school. He opened the door and swept his gaze around, he noticed two of his previous students. Neither were very good, but hey, they never gave him problems anyway.
"We about to be heading up to the school now. Stay in your seat and don't let your bags roll around." He said in his very obvious African sounding voice. He shut the door and swung himself up on top of the carriage and took the reigns.
"You others heading up to the school now?" Olakunde asked, raising his voice for it to carry all the way to the other teachers.

"Really? But I...I was sure that...he..." Aie muttered, but she stayed leaned against the wall, and later on she got up and looked out of the window. 'No students yet...' She thought. She walked out of the hall, and started moving down to where she spotted Shinbue. She shivered underneath her cloak, and walked over to Shinbue. "No sigh of the students?" She asked.
"Why, hello Miss Dien, and no, no students yet..." Shinbue said, as he began to make a small swan.

René shrugged and said nothing. Some attitude she had. In fact, a few words of wisdom swirled around his head such as, politeness, but he kept his mouth shut. Sure, his sunglasses were still on, but he was quiet by nature. Unfortunately, Jacob wasn't.
"Hey, he just saved you the trouble of a falling bag. Why don't you thank him?" Jacob frowned, his arms returning to a more normal length.
"She doesn't need to." René muttered. Frankly, he was used to rude comments. He got them all the time at home. "Just leave it alone, 'migo."
"No." Jacob said. "You helped her so she should say 'thank you.' It's only polite." He crossed his arms.
"It's alright, I'm pretty used to it. Just drop it." René turned and stared pointedly out the window, signaling that the discussion was over.
Jacob, however, wasn't done yet. He turned towards Amelia. "Don't you think so?" This got him a punch from René. "Drop it."

"Oh." Art said, "Are you a weaver?" He sat down on the other side as an older boy came in too. "It's fine with me." He said, wiping his cheek consciously.
------
"Alright! I'm goin' on to chaperone the ride!" Eevy called to the others and hopped onto the train before it shoved off.

"Yes, actually, I do agree with you Jacob, but really, I think either way she would have gotten hurt, but had it fallen it would have most likely knocked her out," she said to Jacob, then she added to Mat, "You should take that to the nurse, if you don't see to it, it could get way worse, but if you want I could heal it enough to lessen the pain." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nancy put her book down and looked out the window, "Usually the students had arrived by ,now and dad(Amelia's grandfather) will be expecting a call," she thought as she got up to go down to the entrance.

Damian stepped out of the train, his eyes glimmering at the cold rush of air he felt against his face - he had been gone for a short amount of time, although to him it felt like ages. He sighed, muttering something to himself, something of little or no importance to the remainder of the students and teachers and the school. He didn't want to offend anyone by his demeanor, to calm his rage, to which there was really no reason, he flicked his earphones on without hesitation and turned the volume up so as to drown out everyone else and to keep his thoughts to himself. Making sure he had grabbed his luggage (one bag of clothing) and his messenger bag, he climbed into an empty carriage, waiting for them to leave - secretly hoping that no one would want to sit next to him.

Mat kept her eyes to the window. She could feel the power in herself, whatever it was, was starting to activate and the next person she got close to she would absorb their power. She glared between the two of them.
"I see no way to be polite." She said curtly," It's not like I am on friendly or polite terms with anyone in here." She said, she bent and swiftly pulled the zipper on the bag around the top and flipped it open. All that was seen was different sized pieces of cloth and yarn,” Like it would have hurt anyway. Most likely if it fell it would have just knocked me on my ass, which in turn would make you…people laugh. So in all likelyness the only thing he did was rob you of some laughter. I would hardly thank him for that.” She added, zipping her bag back up resting her legs on it. Looking down at her wrist, the skin was starting to bruise and the bone was sticking out at a funny angle. Truth be told, she wouldn't have even noticed unless that annoying girl pointed it out.
"Don't touch me!" Mat hissed, moving her hurt arm under her other arm so no one could touch it, " Just go back to your horrible flirting and leave me alone!" She hissed. God this was such a horrible start of the new year!

Khetela shrugged her shoulders, "That is one way of putting it. But you can keep it...if you need it again." She said with a slight smile. She held out her hand," I'm Khetela, but everyone just calls me Kida." She said, her friendly smile back on her face.
Kida smiled as the gym teacher, Ola, opened the door and told them they were about to be going. She nodded her head and held on to her bags, even though it wasn’t necessary right now.

Jakobe rolled over in his bed and his eye cracked open. The sun peeked in his window through the door to his bedroom in his dorm. He rolled out of bed and landed in a thump on the floor.
The students should be returning today.
Jakobe rolled onto his back and rubbed his eyes with a yawn. He wasn't ready. It was too early. He sat up slowly, stretching slowly. He stood and looked around his room. Most of his clean clothes hadn't returned from the laundry yet, so he only had one choice of clothes to wear. His white wife beater and his black baggy pants along with his leather jacket because it is always cold. He slid into his clean clothes and looked into his wall mirror. His hair was a mess. Jakobe ran his hands through his hair until it laid like he liked it and then he walked out of his second floor dorm to take the elevator down to welcome his friends back to another year. Because thankfully, this was his last year.
Or at least it was supposed to be, but his power was still very unpredictable, thus landing him here for the entire summer.
He stepped out of the elevator and walked outside, seeing the Dean pace. He raised an eyebrow. "They not here yet?" Jakobe asked. Lian looked at him briefly and then looked at the trail.
"Not yet. But they should be here soon..." Lian muttered so quiet Jakobe almost didn't hear it.

Aiere started to walk towards the school again, but didn't at the same time, she stopped a lot of times, and looked back, Shinbue kept on glancing at her, and he worried about her.
"Aiere, stop worrying! They'll come, they'll come." he shouted.
"Shinbue! I just hope nobody is hurt! That's all..." Aie shouted back, she started pacing, and stopped a few steps away from the doors, she looked back, and just sat down on the floor, she had nothing to do inside, so she just wanted to wait.

Tai was getting unpatient, and began to wonder if he /should/ go to see Aie, he didn't care, he just wanted to get this stupid wound healed already.
"Why do you think the carriage hasn't moved yet?" Talon asked.
"'Cuse it's stupid..." Tai told, clutching his hand.

Art took her hand, years of conditioning kicking in as he shook it. "Thank you, Miss Kida. Arturo Walker." He just noticed he was doing it and he rubbed his hand through his hair after he let go. "Sorry. I'm just too used to my tutors." He looked up as Ola came in and smiled politely and nodded a thank you. 'I'm glad we're going to get going now.'

Kida smiled at his politeness, it was unexpected. "Nice to meet you Arturo. Is this your first year here?" She asked curiously, stowing her notepad in her pocket along with her pen. She pulled down her hood and tossed the lot of her hair behind her shoulders. It was making her head hot.
