The City of Montridge

Auna looked at Jade to answer her question," Well, they are mostly in the mountains, and the way to tell them apart is the black stones we need give off a magical pulse, but a very small one." Her held her fingers a millimeter apart, She watched as Jade and Noodles left and she looked back around closing her eyes.

I hope we find them in time.

[GIR]

Noodles rolled on Big'un like a gear onto her back and continued following Jade. "Oh. Well. That's kinda weird. I thought they'd look different of something. I guess not."

[Kyuu]

"Okay, there's the tree," Jade said stopping at a tree that to anyone else, looks like all the rest of the trees that surrounded them. She walked arond it three times then started going back the way she came.

[GIR]

Noodles hung her head over the end and continued to follow without the tree spinning. "Are we lost? Because if we're lost, we might as well look. While we're looking we can..." and she continued to babble on like this as she rolled over and stared at the area around Jade's feet for shiny rocks.

[Kyuu]

"No, we're not lost, like I said, this place is just really hard to find if you want to find it," she said, realizing that they could be looking while they walked, so she opened her senses to any magical pulses or auras and she felt a familiar one! It was her friend Jun! Even tough they both lived in Montridge, she rarely saw her.

((Like one and a half pages. But basically back at the trail nothing changed, only Jade and Noodles left and uh.....Auna said that if anyone finds a stone to go back to the trail and tap this mirror thing to alert Auna so she can go back and take the stone.))

Darius looked out the window of his small cabin in the back area of the woods. He smile weakly laughing to himself as he waited. He needed them to complete there task for he needed to see where the stones that held up the barrier’s were located. The only way he would get his answer’s would either become a hostage situation or just an all out mess.

He knew very well how small towns worked. Rumors spread like wildfire and if he messed up with this task then there would serious repercussion’s. He had one shot and one shot only. He had of course been against worse odd’s then this.

He dropped his shoulder’s back turning to the armoire and opening the doors. Separated by a glass frame there was a uniform. The heavy-duty black canvas jacket was hanged over a fake torso, gold plated combat boots resting underneath on the bottom of the case.
Pants with elegant beadwork were hanged underneath the jacket followed but an empty dark leather holster and a shoulder strap built to support the weight of a rifle.

Underneath the glass box there were two shelves. The first held an ordinary bronze gauntlet, left handed and the next held a shallow black rectangular box.

He slipped out of his old clothes discarding them at the foot of the disheveled bed. He then proceeded to open the glass box and adorn the uniform that lay within. Slipping the holster through the belt loops of his trouser’s he then proceeded to open the black case.

Two handguns, one shaded black the other white gleamed against the red plush velvet as he removed them spinning the roulette back making sure that at least one of the rounds was a blank. It made it much more interesting that way of course.

He put on the black jacket buttoning it up in the front before removing the second holster. He then proceeded to attach the buck shot pump action Springfield to the leather strap and throwing it behind his back before picking up the golden plated combat boots and walking over to his bedside lacing them up tightly before returning to the armoire and slipping the gauntlet over his hand, flexing the fingers to make sure no rust had devolved upon the metal surface.

Auna took her own uneven path straight up the mountain, every now and then she stopped climbing straight up, and just listened. Trying to sense any of the stones. She climbed higher up on the mountain. Finally. She felt, and sensed a stone in the mountain. She felt the rock she clung to and felt that it was at least twenty feet in the rock.

Jun stumbled and hit the ground. She had lost control, again. It had been in Montridge for a while now. Despite the newfound freedom, she was actually getting rather homesick. Sometimes it even went so far as to swallow her in sadness, making her loose control and cause a downpour. Luckily, this time, she had had enough control so as to keep it in her general area. But now her socks were wet. Darn.

Jun leaped up and turned, pulling out her sword. She had let her guard down, magical beings were coming nearer, how could she have missed them before?

[Kyuu]

Jade ran towards her friends aura, hopping Noodles would kepp up, it wouldn't do to get lost here.

It was Jade! She came crashing noisily through the bushes, running, with someone on a big floating,(...was that a noodle?) thing, behind her.

[GIR]

Noodles floated lazily behind, talking quietly to herself. She noted that Jade was moving faster and looked around, "What's up?"

[Kyuu]

"Hey Jun!" Jade was ecstatic, for some reason, they only saw each other once a year, and Jun was like family to her. "This is Noodles, one of my friends, we're looking for these one rocks that hold up the barrier between here and the real world. They give off a magical pulse. Wanna help?"

[Kyuu]

"This is my long time friend, Jun, she's gonna help us! Right? And Noodles, don't leave my side here, " she said,"I'm the only one who knows how to get out, and if you get lost, it'll take a year to get out..."
