Kiki and Rirk appeared in the middle of room with a woosh of flames just as the announcer began saying what team they were on.
"I told you we were going to be late" said Rirk.
"No you didn't, and besides, we had to get Rin. You know how he hates getting left behind." said Kiki defensly while holding up the small dragon for emphasis.
Rin purred sleepily.
"And anyways, I thought you were going to wake us up from our nap? Well?"
"Yeah yeah, come on, we're in team Chagrin. You've always made us late and you'll never change.." he said as he dragged his younger twin sister towards Chagrin.
Rin snored and had fallen asleep soundly in her arms.

"We need to think of a team name." said Riven. "I've got a few ideas, how about the Brotherhood of Amoral Dudes, or ummm....maybe Gallant League Of Rebellious Youngsters? The letters of each word spells another word too... B.A.D. and G.L.O.R.Y. Or we can call ourselves Dusklurk, Shadedusk, or Duskdeamons...." Her older siblings like to help out. A lot, and Riven would probably be bugged by them the whole adventure.

[Icefire]

Darkstar turned around, her bright green eyes now glowing blood-red, illuminating a deep ruby light around her face. "I have never backed down from a challenge!" she hissed furiously. "And to tell you the truth, I am actually a bit dissapionted. I get the easiest team, that doesnt have as many people trying to make me lose!" A small bit of hurt showed in her eyes as she added, "As I said, I have never backed down from a challenge, and I never will. Only courage and bravery have kept me alive so far, and I put my trust into them more than anything." Darkstar didnt take insults too well, especially if they were on her courage and intellegence. If it wasnt for intellegence, she would have been dead 100 years ago. But no, she had lived to be a striking 150, when most of her friends who went on the same missions with her had died around age 75. Darkstar had made it to the prime of her life, what would be teenage years for a mortal, and she felt as though she could never get tired. Her mind buzzed with excitement, and her eyes changed from blood-red to a playful bright green. "So you dont think I'll do so well in the maze, huh? We'll just see about that!" She grinned wryly. He was right, Darkstar did like to show off. I'll show him that there is nothing wrong iwth showing off, as long as you know what you are doing... Darkstar thought. Yes, but dont forget about me and Goldwing. You can always use our help, and if you go, we vanish from the earth forever. So dont even think about going! Sharpfang advised.

[Athie]

"Darkstar!" Kuro Said "Calm Down.". Kuro was near the point of crying.

"Is only one team going to survive?" She innocently asked. "And Who Insulted you anyway?"

[Athie]

Aryani Ran up to Bane. She looked longingly at Kuro. Then she shook the tears out of her eyes before anyone could see. "I am here. Sorry. Ok What Is our name??"

"It was this ignorant... what are you again? Uh... are you some sorta feles half breed or something? Oh, and I didnt catch your name." Darkstar said to Kuro, and then finished by talking to Ennui.

"Hi Aryiani!!! This is Luna!" Kiro said to her friend.

Aaron glanced around for Speeka. She had disappeared again. He muttered something under his breath and began to walk around, hoping she'd pop up.

Speeka was off snooping around, trying to take in every detail of everything. It never hurts to know too much. She always said that and it often annoyed Aaron. Especially when it had to do with something personal.

[Aura]

Ennui gazed straight into Darkstar's eyes. "I wasn't aware that the definition of "team" included the individual teammates trying to kill each other. If you want to lead a mutiny, feel free. I'll be glad to leave. But without the help of a guide, the maze is impossible - to get from challenge to challenge, we guides must make a path. Without us, you will only hit a dead end. And once the door closes behind you, you would be stuck."

He turned to Kuro. "That depends. Only one team, if any, will win... if by winning you mean getting the prize. But the teams are not eternal. If a person dies, their team might still win. All but one could fall and that one could still escape the maze. As for who insulted me..." he smiled slightly. "Telling a cat that they are "just a cat" is not the kindest thing to greet a new aquantance with. Which brings me to what I am. I am a Bakeneko."

[Athie]

"Oh ok." Kuro replied to Darkstar "OH CRAP!!! Why did you just yell at our guide? He IS HOLDING OUR LIVES IN OUR HANDS!!!" she realized. "AND HE'S NOT JUST A CAT! HE'S GOT TWO TAILS AND HE TALKS FOR PETE'S SAKE!!!"

"Wait I don't know a Luna." Aryani said. "I know a Kiro, but.."

"Hey all," said Bane, looking around at all the newcomers. "Do you guys already know each other or something? I feel left out, I don't know any of you. But I guess you might not last that long anyway. I'd still like to meet you though, then we can still hold a memorial or something."

[Icefire]

"I DIDNT SAY YOU WERE JUST A CAT!!! And who said I wanted to lead a mutany? And I though Kuro asked who insulted me... But anyways I didnt mean that as an insult. I was just asking what you were, and what your name was!!!" Darkstar retorted hotly.

[Icefire]

"I am Kiro, and this is Luna, who I am introducing you to! Did you lose all your smartness or somethin in the time i've been away???" Kiro informed Aryani.
