(We will use this thread up until the time we separate into teams. Make your characters and introduce them here, then once there are a good amount of character the teams will be made. If you create a character after the teams are made, they will be assigned to a random team and join them in the middle of the maze.)
“Prizes beyond your wildest dreams, unlocking new worlds to their owner. And all you have to do to win them is to make it through the maze…” The was what the pamphlet had said. And it had led many to this place, these caverns far away from any major civilization.
A mountain loomed overhead, a huge door large enough for the biggest of dragons to fit through in the front. Seemingly carved out of fine wood, but to the touch it had the smooth and cool feel of metal. Creaking heavily, the doors opened, showing the contestants their first view of the maze.
A large, dome-shaped room awaited them, multiple smaller tunnels leading off of it. Each tunnel was blocked by a glowing door of varying color, a blank name-plate on each door. Light shone down from a hole in the top of the room, making a perfect circle on the ground. It was noon, after all. And after a long time traveling, the contestants had finally arrived.
“Welcome…” boomed a voice, seemingly coming from nowhere. “To the greatest games of the century. Games where you pit your wit and willpower against others of many races, others with abilities far beyond yours. And with a team of people and creatures you may never have met, nor even heard of before, you will run a gauntlet of challenges. Will you make it through alive? Time will tell. But in the end only one team can win, and even that team may not make it through without casualties… those ready to take this risk, come and stand in the front, all others may go home now.” The voice faded away, and then silence reigned again.

Dragnia and Talon stepped up to the front, not afraid to take risks, for the only thing they needed was hope, and love for eachother. Talons eyes glew a bright gold, in the dark, as he looked ahead.

Yeah, the randomness is limited. If you make some characters who you really want to be on a team together, they'll stay together. However, characters made by different people will have to wait and see ^^)

Spee tried to go through the crowd without touching anyone, Aaron just left her behind and she soon lost sight of him. He was pushing his way up to the front for a better view of everything and to escape the numbers. He hated crowds, even if it were only ten people, if he was stuck in the middle he'd try to shrink himself down even more.
Spee brushed her bubblegum pink hair out of her eyes and stood up on her toes to try and find him.
Aaron stopped when he reached the front and stared around the huge dome. "This is going to be fun." He murmered. He hadn't noticed the warnings of danger and casualties at all. In fact he seemed to welcome them. The danger was what drew him here. From first look you'd see him as a tall, shy kid with a dreamy look on his face, but he was daring when he wanted to be, and he payed more attention to things than you'd think.

Riven looked around eagerly. Even though she wasn't actually supposed to be there, because she had no idea of how or why she did get there, it was exciting either way. The nerve wrecking part probably being that she may be caught any second, but that didn't really matter.
"I wonder whose team I'm gunna be on.... Or where we're going to go..." She shivered with the excitement bubbling up inside her. "What a great adventure I'll have."

Noodles suddenly sat up. She rubbed her eyes as she heard "...a gauntlet of challenges. Will you make it through alive?" She woke up fully and jumped up. "AGHH! not again!"She thought, "Where did I go this time?" Sometimes, about once every few months, she teleports to a random place in her sleep. She ran down the hallway and saw a lot of people and began to smooth her clothes and hair down. "Here I go on another adventure!" She murmured happily.

"Hi, I'm Dragnia, or Nia, for short. And this is Talon, he barely talks to anyone else other than me and a few others." Nia introduced herself.

A young girl, apparently human, sat in the far corner or the room. Her large blue eyes gazed at all the creatures present, a wicked smile present on her otherwise sweet face. Her hands tapped a rhythm on random rocks that lay scattered about her feet, hums accompanying the noise from time to time.
All of a sudden, she stopped and stood. With a slight hand-motion, she vanished and reappeared behind Dragnia. "Don't get too friendly with all these people," she said, cackling mischievously. "A lot of them are your opponents." With another hand sign, she vanished again, only to reappear... on the roof of the cave. She stared down at all the contestants. They didn't seem much better than the last bunch... but Za-Za had promised her it would be more fun this time. After all, what fun was it when half the people who came left right away?

Dragnia was confused about the whole dissaperaing thing, she wondered, then she stopped the whole, introducing thing.

Luna bounced along, Kiro right behind her. "C'mon, this is gonna be fun!" Luna said to her twin. She turned around when Kiro hadnt answered, and saw a dark look on her face. "Kiro...?" she asked quietly. "Luna, this is NOT going to be an easy little maze, like those we did back home. This is a matter of life or death, and I would be suprised if one of us survived." Kiro said seriously. "You mean we will both survive???" Luna's eyes brightened at her sister's last comment. "No, Luna." Kiro sighed, "It means that i'm not sure if any of us will survive at all."

Aryani grumbled as Kuro (no not kiro Icefire stole my name *hisses* no lol just kidding but she did steal it. Grr.) dragged her over to the maze. "Do we have to go?" Whined Aryani. Kuro shot her an evil look. "Gosh. Be That Way." Aryani pouted. You Couldn't tell who was older and who was younger. Aryani was eighteen but acted like she was twelve and Kuro was twelve but acted like she was eighteen. "Just Come On!" Kuro Tugged At Aryani's Sleeve. "Ok fine! I will come, just LET GO OF ME!!" Aryani snatched her sleeve out of Kuro's grip.

Darkstar sat in a dark corner of the room, just staring silently at what was around her. A dark mist slightly surrounded her, but she could see through it quite well. She looked up to see someone on the roof, and summoned Goldwing to fly her up there and see who it was. She normally didnt interact to much with others, but this girl seemed.... different. As she became level with the girl, she narrowed her eyes at her and muttered, "Hmm. The roof. Nice place to be if you like looking down on other people." Her face was blank, her dark curiousity not showing through glowing green eyes.
