"So ice is totally different? Hm. They have to be close though. It's just cold water... " She said, sitting up and putting her chin in her hands

"Yes I know that, but you would have to think about it in a molecular way, Liquid water and frozen water have different 'elements' in their molecular structures, which I guess that trickles down into us not being able to get it cold enough for it to freeze, when can change the temperature of the water, but we can't boil it or freeze it completely, just get it really hot or really cold." Norali explained.

[GIR]

"Hmm. That's a bit confusing, but I kinda get it." Nami said, "What should we be doing now? Maybe something offensive?"

[anarchyheartless]

"Okay... offensive." Norali thought about it, " For the offensive attacks you must be able to think, and move very quickly." Norali stood and walked over to the water, stepping into it, the water came to around to the middle of her shins.

"Call the water to you and create a long sting, about two inches wide and however long you want it, at least longer than your arm span. This will create a whip, or a further extension of your arm. All you have to do whip your arm and the momentum will make the whip snap at your opponent."

[GIR]

"Right! So if I can't escape!" She jumped up and ran to the water. She called it up and it spiraled into a stringy shape with a blobby part on her hand. "Ohh. It's so cool!"

"Right-o. Now to whip it at me. If the whip is done correctly, the pain inflicted is worse than a leather whip." Norali told Nami, " Later, you will see what I mean."

[GIR]

She flung her arm out a bit awkwardly, because she was not used to whips

"Hrm....have you ever snapped a towl?" Norali asked, making the motion with her arm, " That's all it is, the water's own momentum creates the weapon, it is the easiest weapon in our arsenal."

[GIR]

Nami thought about it. She had never done it herself, but sometimes her dad did it. She imitated his movement, but was a little bit too slow.

"Feel the energy of momentum flow down your arm, surely you have done the wave with your hands before." Norali said doing the wave with her hand, " Same concept just on a larger scale, shoulder, elbow, wrist, knuckle and joint." She said demonstrating slowly, then doing it again with the water.

[GIR]

"Like throwing a frisbee!" She said doing it much better with a small crack at the end.

"Hrm...oh yes. A frisbee." Norali smiled when she heard the cracking noise. " Good. Good." She muttered, facing Nami, " Now hit me."

[GIR]

Nami had confidence in her new teacher as she bodily swung the whip.

Norali turned sideways and the whip shot past her, "Duck." Norali ordered as she spun on one foot and lashed out with her whip, purposefully over Nami's head.

Nami didn't even have to hear the warning as her instincts kicked in. She shot under the other whip.
