This is not a poll, yet it is in the poll section. Crazy!
Anyways, there has been some talk of adding additional contests in the past. There is also the issue that past contest have had extremely few entries, so they're not really much of a competition.
So... thoughts? Should we cancel contests, or continue them? And if we decide to continue, do you think we should stick with just art contests or add more. What type of contests would you like to see, and how would you like them to be run?
And all that sort of stuff.

hmm...yes, it is true that not a lot of people have ever actually replied in them...*entered sorry...but yes...a writing contest might work, scince some people don't have scanners or art programs (for art contests....). Possibly have a theme and who ever has the most creative responce to that theme could win, but what would the prize be?

hmm...yes, it is true that not a lot of people have ever actually replied in them...*entered sorry...but yes...a writing contest might work, scince some people don't have scanners or art programs (for art contests....). Possibly have a theme and who ever has the most creative responce to that theme could win, but what would the prize be? prize?  -eyes wided- how could that work through...... -haves ideas, but sometime can't tell them- |

Ideas for prizes in the past have included special titles (although staff would not be able to have these, unfortunately), or drawings/signatures/something draw by Tychras' more artistically inclined members. However, it could be something as simple as a hall of fame.

yap, that could actually possibly work, something simple but would be remebered in the past of tychras! I actually quite like that idea...or we could simply stick with the some title or a little 'drawing' prize

Alrighty, time for a new question. What would you like to see as prizes? Ideas so far include a special title, a trophy or drawing of some sort (people would need to volunteer to do art for this one, as I fail at art), a hall of fame remembrance, and awards on petsites/alternate sites if the winner and... someone willing are on the same site.
So what do you think? If anyone has any additional ideas, please suggest them.

I think a "hall of fame" would be nice...Not much else I can think of exactly why, we are limited.... if we could send money or prize to each other, it would be good, now if you wanted to build/create/magic/poofs/ect..... then make it worth that much... like if I wanted to enter the peomty selection, but what requirements are there? are there points involved? what place do I get for each one? piece of work 0/90? style of work 0/25? and more, that way, some of us can see who is the winner by how many points, and could the people that won for "one month" be pulled from the list of fame, and they have to complete to get their place/slot/spot/ect. back? I am very sorry, I been busy and out of mind over the month of may.... next exams and drama of everyday life..... ty Aura for the work and good luck to all -inifs out!** |

I like the idea of someone getting KOed outtave their 1st place spot every month. It would only give them 4(or more if they would keep winning) weeks to brag....And it would want to make them compete. XD
I'm pretty sure you could enter whatever you wanted infis as long as it had to do with the contest theme.....
