O.O How in the world did you have the patience to do all those scales? I could never do that. I'd get bored and just.... draw really big circles. XD And Niko's cute as well.  |

Scales..? *looks at it* Try planning out focus scales on a face. *huggles dragin face piccu* It's hard.. Epsecially when you figure out your scales are too small and you have to erase them ALL. *headdesk* But.. I like him.
What's gonna be hell is coloring him.
Ah! Pictures! RIght!
Niko is VERY good. The only things I could see you need to improve on would be paw structure a BIT.. just a little, they're very well-done.. and foreshortening. The one leg looks just a bit odd.
The dragon thingeh is neat. ^^ Very interesting structure.

There are special pens for inking? Oh. I just traced with a normal pen.

Yes, There is. But I use regular pens just for doodling......Fwahh........

well, there are, but mine is, literally, called, something like a free ink pen? It's not very expensive, and it dries pretty fast.

There are actually different types of pens for inking. I have a 'How to ink/draw/create a manga comic' book about it. it's pretty cool...
